Job Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh
as a Clinical Consultant in our Senior Care Practice. This position
plays a crucial role in helping clients identify, assess, and
mitigate the myriad of risks that can impact the client's
operations and bottom-line. The candidate selected is responsible
for providing advisory services for clients focused on identifying,
analyzing and mitigating risks that occur throughout their business
operations, including during the provision of care and services to
their customers. The advisory services are coordinated with
producers, account managers, other Marsh resources and the client
to maximize efficiency and risk management effectiveness. This role
promotes client retention and satisfaction through day-to-day
responsiveness to questions and issues in a timely manner.
Responses to clients are based on researched, current information
and best practices with an understanding of industry trends and
analysis of actual and potential risks. Solutions will be tailored
to each clients' needs, based on their priorities, resources and
business philosophy. In addition to directly working with clients,
leads and / or actively participates in the development of systems
to support consulting, thought leadership, information gathering,
solutions and products. This individual will also be responsible
for identifying and gaining knowledge about industry trends that
may impact or contribute to losses and business outcomes. The role
will also use data, information and other resources to develop
thought leadership for individual clients, all clients and the
industry through industry organizations. Lastly, the candidate
selected for this role will be recognized as a subject matter
expert in Clinical Risk Management and Account Management who can
manage client work, large projects and other assignments that
contribute to growing and sustaining the practice by managing
relationships with clients, analyzing risks, and implementing
growth and retention strategies. Open to most Marsh locations
across the US.We will count on you to:
- Use risk management expertise to provide services to clients
including identifying and evaluating risks; reviewing loss
experience; developing solutions; articulating the impact of
options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations
to clients.
- Support business retention and collaborate with other Account
Management colleagues on active clients' needs and generating new
business.
- Drive relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and
producers to provide best-in-class service, client retention and
drive growth.
- Serve as a client contact and respond to complex client needs
and questions to improve the client experience.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of changes in the
senior living and long-term care industry to anticipate client and
industry risk management implications.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare risk assessment reports.
These assessments include on-site visits, virtual inspections,
interviews, document reviews and other observations.
- Analyze and synthesize data and information to make
recommendations specific to the client's needs and assist with
prioritizing and implementing agreed-upon initiatives.
- Policy and procedure review and/or development in coordination
with the client's overall risk management program and need.
- Generate ideas for, and develop, papers, webinars, podcasts and
other training and communication outlets that support clients and
prospects and distinguish the practice as industry experts.
- Present at industry conferences and participate in association
task forces and committees.
- Use excellent writing and/or speaking skills to deliver content
that is cohesive and comprehensive for the subject being
contemplated.
- Collaborate with senior living & long-term care practice
members to explain clinical risk services, develop and implement
client advocacy plans and support risk management strategies.
- Participate in prospect meetings, request for information
responses and presentations and other sales efforts as
requested.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and risk-related
standards.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for risk assessments or
other risk initiatives.What you need to have:
- Registered Nurse - ten years with an advanced degree (MSN, MBA,
MPH)
- Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management
- Property and Casualty licensure within 6 months of hire (if not
already obtained)
- 7+ years of leadership positions/experience
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare, senior living, long-term
care and/or risk management consultation
- Ability to travel up to 40%What makes you stand out:

salary range for this role is $149,000 to $317,300. The base pay
offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills,
training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable
minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a
case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position
may be eligible for performance-based incentives.We are excited to
